Hopewell Baptist Church, 526 Hopewell Road, Maryville

Today: A benefit bean supper is planned for 5-8 p.m. in the new Fellowship Hall. Cost is $5 for adults, children ages 5-12, $2.50 and children 5 and under, free. Proceeds will be used to purchase a new sound system.

Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. Church, 3664 Grade Road, Rockford

Pilgrim Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 523 Homer Avenue, Rockford

Today: The church has planned a benefit dinner to raise money for the building fund, beginning at 11 a.m. until the food is gone. Tarklin Valley Baptist Church, Knoxville

Today: The church is hosting a car show fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Parkway Drive-In Theater, 2909 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville. Any type vehicle may enter. The church will also host Browns Family Entertainment, which will offer games and activities for the children from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today and Sunday.
