Grove spaghetti supper set for Saturday
Union Grove United Methodist Church will host a spaghetti dinner and classic gospel concert Saturday. The dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by a concert by Frank Willis on the grand piano in the sanctuary, at 7 p.m. Dinner includes salad, bread, dessert and beverage, for $8. The concert is free, but a love offering will be taken.
All proceeds and donations will go to church mission and building funds.

Lenoir City crafts show this weekend
The 47th annual Lenoir City Arts and Crafts Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday along the shores of Fort Loudoun Lake in Lenoir City Park. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
This is one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast, with about 240 craftspeople and 10,000 attendees. The GFWC Suburbia Woman's Club has sponsored the event since its inception in 1962.

Performing Arts Camp offered for children
Parks & Recreation will be offering a Performing Arts Day Camp for ages 6 to 10 June 8-12 and for ages 8 to 12 on June 15-19 at Everett Recreation Center. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with extended hours available if needed.
Activities will include storytelling, movement, music, acting and theater games and crafts. Cost is $70 and includes a T-shirt.
The camp director is Sherry Petrowski, Maryville High School drama teacher. The deadline to sign up is Friday.

Sieber to appear at Forge story festival
Millie Sieber, of Maryville, will return to the Smoky Mountain Storytelling Festival in Pigeon Forge to share traditional mountain stories in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cherokee teller Lloyd Arneach and members of the Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association Kathleen Mavournin, Cuz Headrick and Rick Love will also share the stage for this special late night concert, at 9:30 p.m. Friday at Belz Outlet Mall, 2655 Teaster Lane, Pigeon Forge.
Favorite storyteller Donald Davis opens the festival at 9 a.m. today. "Haunts and Haints" is the late night concert at 9:30 p.m. today.
Weekend passes are $25; day passes are $10.
Gloria Nelson to present acrylic workshop
A landscape acrylic workshop will be presented by Gloria Nelson June 17 and June 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Arts.alive Gallery in the lower level of Dandy Lions, 300 Church St. Cost of each workshop is $25 plus materials. For more information or to register, call 983-5360 or 984-5300.
