A two-story house on Singleton Station Road burned on Saturday.

The Blount County Fire Department responded at 6:16 p.m. to a report of fire at 4614 Singleton Station Road, Louisville. No one was at home, according to BCFD Capt. Tim Ogle.

The fire was in the house's attic, and flames could be seen coming from the roof ventilation. Firefighters had to tear out the residence's ceiling to get to the fire. Fourteen firefighters were there, and they left about two hours after the initial report.

Firefighters have not determined the cause of the blaze.
