Benson-Griffith

Catherine J. Griffith, daughter of Mark and Beverly H. Griffith, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Matthew J. Benson, son of Jan Benson, of Knoxville, and Dale Benson, of Gainsville, Ga., June 5 at Blue Goose Farm & Vineyard, the home of bride’s parents. The Rev. Charles Ballard officiated. This was the 57th anniversary of the bride’s grandparents, the late Bob and Dorothy L. Herron.
A reception is planned in October at Royal Oaks Event Facility.
The bride is a graduate of William Blount High School. She attended Pellissippi State Technical Community College and has been accepted to Maryville College in the fall. Other grandparents of the bride are Virginia Griffith, of Gatlinburg, and the late Dean R. Griffith, whose birthday was June 5. Great-grandmother of the bride is the late Kate N. Lambert.
The bridegroom is a graduate of William Blount High School. He attended Pellissippi State and is employed at Blount Memorial Hospital as a computer analyst.
