Arrests
n Jeremy Lanning Amburn, 26, Big Springs Road, Maryville, was arrested by Blount County Sheriff's deputies on June 30 on a Loudon County warrant. He was released to Loudon County authorities.
n Malia Nichole Wallace, 29, Raulston Road, Maryville, was arrested by Maryville police on June 29 on two charges of identity theft. She was being held in lieu of $3,000 in bonds pending 9 a.m. July 7 hearings in Blount County General Sessions Court.

n David Michael Crowe, 28, Knoxville, also charged with violation of probation granted after a misdemeanor conviction

Thefts
Alcoa
n Patricia Ann Ray, Knoxville, reported at 2 p.m. June 29 fraudulent use of her credit card at three Alcoa businesses for a total of $421.53.
Blount County
n Crystal G. Correll, Mutton Hollow Road, Maryville, reported at 12:40 p.m. June 29 theft of a black and tan dog, PlayStation 2, 20 PlayStation 2 games, DVD/VHS system, 25 DVDs, cell phone, license plate, CD player, 120 CDs, digital camera and jewelry from her residence. Total loss was estimated at $4,115.
n The owner of Kensingon Mobile Home Park, 131 Teaberry Drive, Maryville, reported at 1:46 p.m. June 29 that someone kicked in the door to the office and stole a computer, fax machine, phone, computer monitor, leaf blower, computer mouse and sure protector. Loss was estimated at $1,800.

n The owner of Transmission Corp. of America, 107 Plymouth Drive, Maryville, reported at 9:19 a.m. June 29 that someone broke into a Coca-Cola vending machine sometime over the weekend. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the machine.
n An employee of 411 Motel, 2651 U.S. 411 South, Maryville, reported at 10:49 a.m. June 29 that a Coca-Cola machine and Pepsi machine were broken into sometime overnight. Locks and coin boxes were removed from the machines and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

n Kenneth O. McCammon, North Dunlap Street, Maryville, reported at 1:19 a.m. June 29 that someone let the air out of the tires of his truck and boat trailer while he was fishing. The tires were not damaged.
n Brandon J. Ford, Thornhill Drive, Maryville, reported at 6:45 a.m. June 28, that someone broke out the rear windshield of his 2005 Nissan, causing $400 damage. A rock believed to have been used to break the window was found in the back seat.

Blount County
n David Bemis, Nine Mile Road, Maryville, reported at 4:56 a.m. June 30 that a vehicle drove off the road and struck his chain link fence, causing $500 in damage.
Domestic violence
Blount County
n A Maryville woman reported at 9:21 p.m. June 28 that her husband had pushed her and started breaking items in the house. According to the Blount County Sheriff's Office report, items damaged included the house phone, Internet router, laptop computer, and cell phone. Estimated value was $600.
Maryville
n A Maryville woman reported at 11 p.m. June 29 that her sister and her sister's boyfriend were involved in a domestic assault. When Maryville Police officers arrived at the residence, they could hear the victim, a Maryville woman, yelling from the residence for the offender to get away from her, according to a police report. Both the victim and offender were heavily impaired and the victim had red marks on her arms, neck and face, but no serious injuries. The victim said she did not want to pursue charges. A witness said the offender allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck to lead her from the car to the house. The offender hit the witness with the car door and while dragging the victim into the house, the offender was striking her repeatedly with his hands. The man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence with assault. Once at the Blount County Jail, officers discovered that the boyfriend had an outstanding attachment for failure to appear on a DUI charge.
n A 30-year-old Maryville woman reported at 11:20 p.m. June 27 that her ex-boyfriend had been following her and when she stopped at a gas station, he approached her vehicle, got angry at her, began yelling and trying to grab her car keys. According to a police report, the ex-boyfriend forcibly grabbed her fist and wrenched her right hand, causing injury to her fingers. She began yelling for help and the store clerk called the police. She refused medical treatment at the scene, telling officers she would seek treatment from her personal doctor if her hand injury became a problem. The offender left the scene prior to the officers arriving. The victim said this was not the first time he had been physically violent with her.
n A Maryville woman was talking with her sister on a cell phone when she heard a thumping sound and commotion. She remained on the phone while another person called 911 at 1:28 a.m. June 28. The sister, also a Maryville resident, had been visiting a male friend and started to leave when he grabbed her by the hair. The sister complained of a sore lip, cheek and scalp. Some redness was visible on her face. Options were explained to the victim.

n Jackie A. Davis, Doc Norton Road, Walland, traveled through the stop sign at 11:50 p.m. June 28 at Burnett Station Road onto Sevierville Road, crossed both lanes of traffic, struck an embankment and stopped halfway off the roadway. Davis, 52, was taken by Rural/Metro Ambulance Service to Blount Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
n Norman W. Best, Beaver Drive, Maryville, was traveling on Badger Road at 7:39 p.m. June 29 and turned right on Hopewell Road. His vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole. Best, 44, was taken by Rural/Metro Ambulance Service to Blount Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
