Jean C. Carpenter
Jean C. Carpenter, 83, of Eustis, Fla., went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2009. Born in Maryville, she was a graduate of Eustis High School class of 1944. She was a Bookkeeper and was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis. She is survived by her son, Eddie Carpenter (Vicki) of Hendersonville, N.C.; daughter, Jan Tyler (Jim) of Eustis, FL; four grandchildren, Eddie Carpenter, Jr., Chris Carpenter, Sherry Michau (Christian), Julie Henriquez (Gustavo); two great-grandchildren, Alex and Alessandra Henriquez; two very close nieces, Ann Rou and Mary Carver; and many very special friends from Bayview Center, Eustis. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis, Fla., on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Building by Faith Fund at Bay Street Baptist Church, 1806 S. Robert L. Irwin
Robert L. Irwin, age 68, of Maryville, passed from this life on June 28, 2009. He is preceded in death by his father, Lester Irwin. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Connie Irwin and Tony and Tammy Irwin; mother, Katheryn Irwin; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Jerry, Ronnie and Kyle Irwin; sisters, Barbara Mullins and Molly Breeden. Robert was a caring and giving man. He will be sadly missed by his family and many wonderful and loving friends at Rite Stop (129) grocery. A celebration of life services at 9 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at the Rite Stop Market. Memorial service Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Knobb Road Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Mary LeAnn Wilson
Mary LeAnn Wilson, age 37, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Ellejoy Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Reed and grandparents, Charles and Helen Ezell. Survivors include her husband, John Wilson; children, Jessica Cox, Jonah Wilson, Justin Wilson, Brittany Wilson; mother, Carole Sandifer and husband Jim; father, Joe Reed and wife Diane; stepmom, Sue Reed; brothers, Phillip Reed and wife Angie, Shannon Reed, David Kennedy and wife Sandy; sister-in-law, Donna Reed; aunt, Denise Kelly and husband Fletcher; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in Ellejoy Cemetery.
