Alcoa Planning Commission re-elected officers and approved three subdivisions Thursday night.
The slate of officers remains the same -- Chairman Bill Proffitt, Vice Chairman Clarence Williams and Secretary Mark Johnson.
A two-lot subdivision on East Old Topside Road and Conger Road was approved. The small lot becomes a portion of Blount County right-of-way. A resident in the area wanted to purchase the lot for a garden, but planners decided it was too small for use. The county will use the lot in the future if road improvements are made, said Alcoa planner Chris Hamby.
A replat of three lots in Phases 3 and 4 of St. Ives Subdivison on Waverly Court and Edenbridge Drive was approved.
A plat correction on Ramsay Street was also approved.
A three-year plan of work was approved, however, it is affected by financial restraints.
The group reviewed its bylaws, but no changes were made.
