Johnson to sign books Friday

J. Greg Johnson, a native of Sevierville and newspaper columnist, will sign copies of his book "Sanctuary: Meditations from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park," from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Hastings in Maryville.
The books is part Smokies guide and part inspirational journal and was written as a tribute to the Smokies' 75th anniversary. The book contains over two dozen of Johnson's essays and lots of photos he took while on his journeys.
The book is available at Hastings and also online.
"Sanctuary" is published by Flat Creek Publishing.
