Baby dies after being dropped by 3-year-old

FALL BRANCH -- Washington County authorities say a 3-month-old baby has died after it was dropped by another child.
Sheriff's Capt. Shawn Judy said the incident was a "a tragic accident."
The Johnson City Press reported the infant's mother went outside for a moment Wednesday evening and returned to find the 3-year-old child had picked up the baby and dropped it.
The infant was pronounced dead at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport a short time later.
The family's name wasn't released.
