Person of interest held in case of woman found dead in Friendsville

Blount County Sheriff's deputies have taken into custody a person of interest in the case of a missing Knox County woman who is believed to have been found dead in Friendsville Saturday.
Tracy Lynn Fox, 34, of Knoxville, was booked in the Blount County Jail today and is being held for an investigation, according to intake reports.
Wanda D. Britt, Knoxville, was reported missing Friday night by her daughter Melissa Johnson, Dalton, Ga.
Fox was seen driving the deceased woman's vehicle.
A body believed to be Britt's was found Saturday morning on Quarry Hollow Road in Friendsville,
As of late Saturday, authorities had not officially released the name of the woman found dead at about 11 a.m. by an ATV rider on a walking trail.
But according to information from the Blount County Sheriff's Office and Maryville Police Department, the license plate number of the vehicle Fox was seen driving and that of Britt's 2009 tan Dodge Caliber were listed as the same.
