LAND CONSERVANCY CELEBRATION -- The Foothills Land Conservancy will hold its 2009 Fall Conservation Celebration Nov. 12 at Dancing Bear Lodge in Townsend. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $100 each by check only. A special "conservation rate" will be available at the lodge on rooms for the night of Nov. 12. EBAYWORKSHOP -- The Blount Chamber of Commerce is offering a How to Sell on eBay workshop to anyone interested in attending from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 21 at the chamber, 201 S. Washington St., Maryville. The 2-3 p.m. session will focus on basic computer skills, such as Internet browsing and uploading pictures, in preparation of setting up an eBay account. The 3-4 p.m. session will be a walk-through of the process of selling items on eBay. The cost for the two-hour session for chamber members is $40 and $50 for the general public.
