"Arts in the Airport," a new exhibition featuring selected artwork from 31 artists in Tennessee and Georgia, will be exhibited from Oct. 23 to April 22, 2010 with an opening reception on Nov. 5.
The selected art features contemporary two-dimensional artwork and will be exhibited in the secured area behind McGhee Tyson's security gate checkpoint.
Carl Gombert and Rachel Turner, both of Maryville, will have their art displayed along with Barry McManus, of Louisville.
The exhibit is a partnership with the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority and the Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville.
