Karen M. Wells, daughter of Daniel A. and Vicki Wells, of Bridgeport, W.Va., and Charles and E. Ann Schwalbach, of Salem, Ore., is engaged to marry Dean J. Fontaine, son of Anne and Jerry Fontaine, of Cosby, at 4 p.m. Nov. 28 at Millennium Manor, Alcoa. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Billy D. and Mary E. Wells, of Knoxville, Mary Rooker, of Lancaster, Ohio, and the late Robert E. Rooker.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Marion Fontaine, of Columbus, Ohio.
The bride-to-be is a senior paramedic for Rural/Metro Ambulance, Knox County.
The bridegroom-to-be is a captain at the Knoxville City Fire Department.
