It is National Respiratory Care Week and Wednesday is Lung Health Day, raising the awareness of lung health. More Americans die each year from lung cancer than from colon, breast and prostate cancers combined. The No. 1 cancer killer also is the most preventable -- smoking. Talk to your physician about the best options available to aid you in quitting. If you are searching for a physician, check out Blount Memorial's physician directory at www.blountmemorial.org.
