Festival chair policy could be improved

Dear Editor:
My family and I again attended the festival this year. We were mildly irritated by the seating situation.
However, we were not irritated by people moving chairs. We were irritated by people who placed chairs and then did not show up, placed more than they used, or only showed up for the main event.
The hoarding of and non-use of seating was what I found to be rude. Maybe all seating needs to be assigned.
In all honesty, I was only mildly aggravated and we greatly enjoyed all the music and plan to keep taking our chances on seating and we will be back. It was worth every penny we paid.
We carried our chairs in and out as we attended and did not park wagons used to transport chairs inside the seating area. We believe the hogging of seating when not in attendance to be "rude." If everyone would do this I believe the seating arrangement would work just fine.
Thank you for all your fine work.
Respectfully,
Lynn Schmerber
