Blount County grand jury indicts Madisonville woman

A Blount County grand jury indicted a Madisonville woman who is accused of trying to hire two men to vandalize the vehicle of her ex-husband's new wife.
Melissa Davis, 41, was charged with solicitation stemming from a March 12 incident at TGI Fridays, 104 Keller Lane, Maryville. During the incident, Davis "started a disturbance with her ex-husband and his current wife," court documents said. After the disturbance, Davis allegedly tried to hire two men to vandalize the wife's vehicle for $50.
