Maryville attorney Steve Greene has decided to put up his property at a three-day auction that could bring in $6 million to $10 million.
Alley Auction Inc. will handle the auction of the commercial, historic, residential and income-producing entities located over much of East Tennessee from Carter County to Maryville.
Included is Royal Oaks Clubhouse, a 26,000-square-foot conference center with a lounge bar, swimming pool and dining room in Maryville.
Also on the auction block in Royal Oaks is an 18,000-square-foot, partially-finished, multi-purpose building at the clubhouse. Greene initially planned to develop this as living units, but recently separated the two properties.
Also on the auction block in Maryville are residential dwellings, wooded lot, warehouse, commercial sites near Target on Lamar Alexander Parkway, England’s Stove and SporTcuts buildings on West Broadway and an 8-bedroom multi-use structure in Knox County.
The largest tract is 138 acres in Carter County in Roane Mountain that adjoins Cherokee National Forest.
Most auctions will be held on-site Nov. 18-20. Persons interested in the auctions can go online to www.alleyauction.com. Property tours can be arranged.
