Festival benefits abused children

Court Appointed Special Advocates in Monroe County will present Festival of Trees "Through the Eyes of a Child," Nov. 21 and 22 at the Grand Vista Hotel in Tellico West Conference Center in Vonore.
Special pre-Festival events include a Festival Preview Gala Dinner and Auctions from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 20 at a cost of $75 per person, with reservations required by calling 423-351-3615. There is also a Breakfast with Santa set for 7:30 to 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at a cost of $5 per child and $10 per adult.
Festival general admission will be $7 for adults and $3 per child for the regular festival hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The event will include designer trees, holiday gifts and decor, an extensive array of quality handcrafts by area designers, music and refreshments.
CASA is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting the rights of abused and neglected children.
