Excessive rain from Tropical Storm Ida resulted in a rock slide and some flooding this morning in Blount County.

The rock slide occurred on Old Walland Highway near Camp Wesley Woods and was cleared by Blount County Highway Department crews at 8:30 a.m.

Flooding is currently causing a problem on Helton Road near Centennial Church.
