NASHVILLE -- A Nashville-based charity that collects shoes for needy people has announced a fundraising partnership with a tax preparation firm.

According to a news release from the two, Soles4Souls will receive $25 for each new eligible client who has their tax preparation completed at a participating H&R Block retail office anywhere in the country.

H&R Block will also collect gently worn footwear to forward to worthy recipients.

Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away more than 5.5 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes worldwide.
