Birthday West to celebrate 95th birthday Friday

Bertie (Ayers) West, of Walland, will celebrate her 95th birthday Friday at her home with her family.
Mrs. West was born Nov. 20, 1914, in Georgia, to the late Charlston and Mamie Ayers. She was married for 63 years to the late David West.
Her family includes daughters and sons-in-law, Lura and Odell Myers, Evelyn Parrott, and Joyce and Harold Myers, all of Walland. She has eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. West is a homemaker.
She is presently the oldest member of Miller's Cove Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoys quilting and reading.
