Vols jam with East Carolina in Virgin Islands

The Tennessee basketball team gets its first opportunity to play on the road today when the No. 10 Vols take on unranked East Carolina at the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Tipoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
The Volunteers (2-0) are coming off back-to-back offensive showcases, scoring 83 points against Austin Peay and 124 against UNC Asheville, while holding those two opponents to an average of 51 points.
East Carolina (1-2) is coming off two straight losses after opening the season with a win over the University of Virginia-Wise. The Pirates are led by guard Brock Young, averaging 16 points a game.
