Moore leads No. 6 Purdue over No. 9 Tennessee, 73-72

ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands — E’Twaun Moore scored 22 points to lead No. 6 Purdue to a 73-72 victory over No. 9 Tennessee on Monday night in the championship game of the Paradise Jam.
The Vols (4-1) had a chance to win it, but center Wayne Chism missed an open 3-pointer from the top of the key with 2 seconds remaining.
Robbie Hummel scored 20 points for the Boilermakers (4-0) and JaJuan Johnson added 11 despite playing 18 minutes before fouling out.
Moore was selected the tournament MVP.
