A 41-year-old Maryville man faces four charges after he allegedly got violent with employees at Naterz Sports Bar and resisted arrest all the way to jail.

According to a Maryville police report, Tony Lee Morton, Wildwood Road, was drinking at the Naterz, 510 Foothills Plaza Drive, Maryville, at closing time at 2:06 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to the police report, the waitress attempted to remove drinks from Morton's table. Morton reportedly struck her with his hand and kicked at her.

The bouncer then intervened and Morton punched out at him and kicked at him, according to the police report.

He continued to resist arrest from the bar to the intake area at Blount County Jail.

Morton was charged with two counts of simple assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $5,000 pending an appearance Dec. 1 in Blount County General Sessions Court.
