Auctioneer David Alley said the auctions held Nov. 18-20 of property owned by Maryville lawyer Steve Greene as "overall a great success."
"We sold most of the properties," he said.
One property that didn't sell was the Royal Oaks Club House, which includes a 26,000-square-foot conference center, lounge, bar, swimming pool and dining rooms, and a partially-finished 18,000-square-foot attached building that has been previous approved for living units.
Prior to the bidding, a meeting was held with the Royal Oaks Property Owners Association.
Two groups in medical fields wanted to bid on the property, but the property owners group would not allow such a commercial use, the auctioneer said.
Alley said he is currently working with a Knoxville caterer who is interested in purchasing the property.
