A Victorian Village Community Benefit was held Nov. 21 at Chilhowee View Community Center, Wilkinson Pike, Maryville, to raise funds for several nonprofit organizations including New Hope, Blount County Children's Advocacy Center, Blount County Habitat for Humanity, the homeless and the community center. The event included decorated trees, music, arts and crafts, shops, heirloom quilts, a bake sale, children's booths and other activities. Funds were raised through monetary donations, donations of goods and services which were then sold, and booth fees from exhibitors. Organizers included volunteers, Art Alive Gallery, Chilhowee View Community Center and Blount County Flower Shop.
