Five Blount County road projects are on the high priority list of 17 approved Tuesday by the Knoxville Regional Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) Executive Committee.

The local roads are Alcoa Highway, Pellissippi Parkway and portions of Montvale, Morganton and Sevierville roads.

The work window for completion on the projects range from 2009-2014 to 2015-2024. Cost estimates range from $6 to $350 million, depending on the size of the project.

The Knox Regional TPO is in charge of prioritizing funding for area road projects for Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
