McConkey promoted at Maryville College

Carrie McConkey, Maryville College's director of placement at the Center for Calling & Career for more than two years, has accepted a position in the college's office of advancement and community relations.
McConkey was responsible as director of placement for cultivating and nurturing a wide range of on- and off-campus contacts in order to connect the college's students and graduates to valuable employment and other vocational opportunities. The position also included fostering moral, spiritual and personal reflection on issues of vocation and vocational discernment.
As a regional advancement officer, McConkey will visit alumni and friends on the East Coast in an effort to complete the college's "Our Window of Opportunity" campaign and help to launch the new "Bridge to Distinction Plan."
