One person still in critical condition after accident that sent six to hospitals

A head-on collision Friday morning sent six people to area hospitals, and one person was still in critical condition late Friday after the accident on Coulter Bridge.
Officials with the Blount County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Unit are still investigation the accident, which occurred at about 8:45 a.m., at the intersection of Old Walland Highway and Tuckaleechee Pike.
According to Sheriff's Office officials, Rhonda Sue Reagan, 40, Pinewood Drive, Maryville, was traveling west in a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle on Tuckaleechee Pike near the intersection of Old Walland Highway when she crossed over the double yellow line and struck a 1997 Chevrolet Venture minivan that was traveling east.
Reagan was the most seriously injured and taken by Lifestar to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where she was still in critical condition Friday night, hospital officials said.
Four other passengers in the van were also taken to area hospitals.
Ofelia T. Gonzalez, 56, Willow Creek Circle, Maryville, was taken by Lifestar to UT Medical Center, where she was still being evaluated Friday evening, hospital officials said.
Jessica O. Vance, 34, County Farm Road, Friendsville, was taken by Rural/Metro Ambulance Service to Blount Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released, hospital officials said Friday evening.
Renae A. Clemons, 39, South Farnum Street, Friendsville, was taken by Rural/Metro Ambulance Service to UT Medical Center, but hospital officials didn't have information about her condition Friday night.
Denise D. Hagy, 31, Island Drive, Maryville, was taken by Rural/Metro Ambulance Service to Blount Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released, according to hospital officials.
