Newfound Gap Road reopens

Newfound Gap Road through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park reopened this morning after being closed overnight.
Roads that are currently closed include:
Foothills Parkway East
Greenbrier Road past the Ranger Station
Cosby entrance Road
Cataloochee Road
Old NC-284 between big Creek and Cataloochee
Lakeview Road
Elkmont entrance road
Visitors can check road conditions messages at 865-436-1200.
