Harry and Wanda Jean Keener celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Harry and Wanda Jean (Spires) Keener, of Greenback, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cruise to Alaska with the Bill Gaither Homecoming Tour. They will be honored at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Oakland United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
They request that gifts be omitted.
The couple were married Jan. 30, 1960, in Charleston. The Rev. William Bull Sr. officiated.
Their family includes daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Andy Hollis, of Charlotte, N.C. They have two granddaughters, Reagan and Andie Hollis.
Mr. Keener is retired from Otis Elevator Company. Mrs. Keener is retired from Treachery Mechanical.
They are members of Oakland United Methodist Church. They enjoy traveling and attending auctions.
