Jacksons celebrate 62 years of marriage Feb. 8

Dewey and Doris Jackson, of Maryville, will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary Feb. 8.
The couple were married Feb. 8, 1948, in Chatsworth, Ga. The Rev. J.W. Dooley officiated.
Their family includes Dewey Jr., of Lebanon, Danny Joe, of Maryville, and Debbie Lyn, of Palmyra. They have 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jackson retired from the United States Army after 33 years of service.
The couple attend Niles Ferry Baptist Church and are active in Gideons International.
