The Royal Ambassadors of Central Baptist Church, Alcoa, began collecting pennies shortly after Christmas with the goal of having a mile's worth of pennies to donate to missions projects. The RAs amassed 850,000 pennies and laid them out March 4 at Alcoa First Baptist Church Family Living Center to see exactly how a mile of pennies appears. The money will be donated to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering, which will be used for North American missionaries.
