Thank you Daily Times for publishing these pictures. I hope you will make all the photos of the dogs available for all the people who have lost pets. This was a terrible crime in our county. Let's help these animals either return to their homes or find loving new ones. Let's show that Blount Countians do Care!

Some of the dogs rescued from dismal circumstances Friday night at a remote Wildwood Road residence may have owners.

Blount County Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSCPA) seized 20 dogs from the property.

Authorities have charged the property owner, Charles Arden Perkins, 63, with cruelty to animals.

In order to reunite the dogs with their owners, The Daily Times is running photos of the dogs rescued. At least one dog was at the vet and is not pictured in the “lineup.”

Anyone recognizing their pet can call BCSPCA President Vickey Dennis at 256-9106 or the shelter at 980-6244.

At least 10 of the dogs rescued will be available for adoption Saturday at Blount County Animal Shelter.
