Marie Henrietta Dickens Jones, of Alcoa, is celebrating her 90th birthday at a reception from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Alcoa. She was born June 28, 1923 in Memphis to the late Dora and Decatur Dickens. She was married to the late Jesse L. Jones Sr.

Her family includes Jesse Jones Jr. of Silver Spring, Md., the late John Jones, the late Shirley Jones, Barry Jones of Columbus, Ohio, Larry Jones Sr. of Maryville, the late Linda Jones, Rosalyn Jones of Marietta, Ga., Michael Jones of Alcoa and Sherry Piper of Alcoa. She has 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
