Orville (Wayne) Judd Sr., age 76, of Louisville, passed away Oct. 30, 2013. Born and raised on Hawthorne Street, South Knoxville, she was preceded in death by parents, Hershel E. and Lucille Judd; first wife, Ruth Ann; brother, Earl Judd; nephew, Barry Lynn Judd. Survivors include devoted and loving wife of 39 years, Larraine; son, Wayne Judd II of Lillington, N.C.; granddaughters, Anna and Ben Haney of Knoxville, Haley Judd of Greensboro, N.C., Jacki Judd of Raleigh, N.C.; grandsons, Wayne Judd III of Raleigh, N.C., Josiah Judd, actively serving in the United States Army in Afghanistan, and Samuel Judd of Sanford, N.C.; great-grandson, Ayden Judd of Greensboro, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Barbara Judd and Ebb and Donna Judd; sisters, Anna McClanahan, Muriel Smith and husband Walter, and Charlotte Rhinehart. Special thanks to Lloyd Slaven, his great friend and caregiver, and the Amedisys team. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. David Sweet and Rev. Steve Monroe officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Grandview Cemetery.
