Allegiant is adding service from McGhee Tyson Airport to two cities in Florida, Sarasota and West Palm Beach.

“We’re thrilled about our continued growth in Knoxville and can’t wait to bring its citizens to a couple of beautiful Florida destinations,” Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue, said in a statement.

New year-round service from McGhee Tyson (TYS) includes:

• West Palm Beach via Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) beginning Nov. 15;

• Sarasota/Bradenton via Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) beginning Nov. 21.

These new routes will operate twice weekly. With the addition of these destinations, Allegiant will now serve 12 cities from McGhee Tyson Airport. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found at Allegiant.com.

Eddie Mannis, chairman of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority, said, “Sarasota/Bradenton and Palm Beach are excellent destinations for shopping, outdoor adventures and cultural entertainment. I am sure East Tennessee travelers will be ready to visit their beautiful beaches when the flights begin in November.”
