The First Tennessee Foundation recently presented the Blount County Children’s Advocacy Center with a $1,000 grant that will be used for training for the center’s therapy department.

Dedicated to serving children who are victims of sexual and physical abuse or trauma, the Blount County Children’s Advocacy Center is the only children’s advocacy center for the Blount County area.

Its services, provided at no cost, include forensic interviews, advocacy, therapy and prevention education.
