The Salvation Army of Blount County will be taking applications for 2019 Angel Tree. Parents and guardians of children ages up to 14 may apply for assistance with Christmas gifts. They may also apply with modest requests for teens ages 15-17 who are enrolled in school.

Applications will be taken from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Sept. 10, 12 and 13; and from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Saturday, Sept. 11 and Sept. 14 at the Salvation Army, 314 W. Broadway Ave. on the campus of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Applicants must bring photo ID for the adult, birth certificates and/or custody papers for all children, proof of school enrollment for teens, Social Security card for all children and evidence of need, such. as recent pay stubs, housing voucher, EBT, etc.
