Blount County United (BCU) is offering a free four-session Dream Chasers Workshop open to youth age 12 to 20. Each Saturday morning session will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the Dorothy Herron Room at the Blount County Public Library on July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 28 and Oct. 26.

Callie Echols Stalliard, chair of the BCU Youth Committee highlighted the purpose of the workshop. “This career workshop is designed for kids who have a dream and need help to foster that dream. It will also be useful for kids who don't have a dream and need direction. The workshop will help students discover their gifts and talents and align those gifts and talents with career choices. Finally, it will give them a set of career readiness and personal finance skills.”
