Blount County Community Action Agency will distribute commodities on Sept. 19. Those who qualify by income may pick up available commodities between 9 a.m. and noon. The distribution will take place in the lower part of the building on Blount County Community Action Agency, located at 3509 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville. This is the former Hubbard School.

No appointment is necessary, but those coming to receive the commodities must have ID. Eligibility is based on total household income not in excess of the state established maximum percentage of 150% poverty guidelines for the appropriate household size.
