DESCENDANTS OF JACK AND SARAH BRADBURN POTTER: Will hold a family reunion on Sunday, Sept. 15, at United Steel Workers Local 309, 229 S. Hall Road, Alcoa. Families can start gathering at noon. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Bring covered dishes.
SIX MILE COMMUNITY REUNION: Will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Six Mile Baptist Church pavilion. The potluck dinner will be held at noon. Attendees are asked to bring photos, stories of the churches, schools and community to share. Open to anyone interested in the history of the community. Drinks, paper products and plastic ware will be provided. (No alcohol.)
