April Joy Adsit and Christopher John Alexander

April Joy Adsit, daughter of Don and Debra Adsit, of Maryville, is engaged to marry Christopher John Alexander, son of Stephen and Robin Roberts, of Knoxville, and Bauman Alexander, of Knoxville, at 4:30 p.m. May 29, at Historic Sam Houston Schoolhouse. Invitations have been sent.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Madeline Adsit, of Maryville, Pat Vass, of Maryville, the late Tony Vass, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Mel Tucker.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Glada Alexander, of Knoxville, the late Bauman Alexander, Betty Tucker, of Florida, and the late John and Sara Bye.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Rockford Elementary.

The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is an accountant and a graduate teaching assistant for Masters of Accountancy at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
