Taylor-Higdon Wedding

Joy Beth Taylor, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lincoln Taylor, of Franklin, is engaged to marry Jacob Benjamin Higdon, son of Brad and Amy Higdon, of Walland, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, at Sampson’s Hollow.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Dr. Robert and Beth Taylor, of Nashville, and Dr. Carroll and Barbara Owen and the late Joy Owen, of Brentwood.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Marshall and Velda Powell, of Walland, and the late LaMar and Willadean Higdon, of Maryville.

The bride-to-be is a 2017 graduate of Carson-Newman University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She will begin her employment in July at Parkwest Hospital.

The bridegroom-to-be is a 2017 graduate of Carson-Newman University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with emphasis in nonprofit leadership. He is currently employed by WindRiver Landscaping and a new member of the 134th Air Refueling Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard.
