Blount County Historical Museum and Cades Cove Preservation Association will present a Day of Fun and Learning beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, at the museum, located at 1006 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville.

From 10 a.m. to noon, participants can learn about beekeeping from Lynda Cook Rizzardi with the Knox County Beekeepers Association. The class is free but donations are appreciated.

Jim Buckenmyer will present "Seed Planting: Go Beyond the Basics," from 1-4 p.m. Cost to attend is $10. This will take place under the trees on the Cades Cove Museum grounds so attendees are asked to bring chairs.

Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available for purchase from 4-5 p.m. Music on the front porch will take place from 6-7 p.m.
