Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians (GSCSA) presents the first ever Snowman Project. On Nov. 9, Girl Scouts will gather at the Square Room on Market Square to make snowmen for the patients at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital during the holidays.

GSCSA invites all Girl Scouts and the community to participate. All who participate will be supporting Children’s Hospital and Girl Scout programing in the area. This special event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $5 per Girl Scout (MUST be in uniform) and $8 for anyone else. Refreshments will be served.

The Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians has almost 14,000 girl and adult members in 46 counties from southwest Virginia, through eastern Tennessee and northern Georgia. Girl Scouts is open to all girls from kindergarten through their senior year in high school. Girls are welcome to join throughout the year.
