This week provides a great opportunity to save money for the holidays. Each store has several special items to add to your shopping list.

CVS stores have a large selection for items that will provide you with store rewards. In addition, the CVS kiosk is printing store coupons that match your past shopping purchases for extra savings.

Walgreens is offering this week great prices on baking items and grocery items. Use your store rewards and manufacturer coupons to reduce the prices further. The sales are so numerous to list, it’s best to use your Daily Times sale ads to guide you through all the sales this week. My recommendation is to keep your sale ads for the holiday shopping to provide you a baseline to ensure you are receiving the best prices this season. If you purchase a Butterball turkey, use the coupon from Smart Source 11-11, mail your receipt and receive additional five coupons for Butterball.

Remember, as you save money with couponing, make sure you take advantage of your savings with the 52-week money saving plan. This is the 46th week of the year. Place $46 into your savings program. This would leave a new savings balance of $1081 toward your year-end goal of $1,378.
