The Maryville College Concert Choir will host the Maryville College Invitational Choir Festival at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre.
The festival will serve to increase awareness about Good Neighbors of Blount County.

The organization seeks do this in an atmosphere of love and respect, building partnerships and by advocating for social justice within Blount County. Good Neighbors is funded by local area churches, individuals, BCEAC, United Way and other civic groups.
Representing Good Neighbors and serving as guest speaker at the concert will be the executive director, the Rev. Lisa R. Blackwood.
“Good Neighbors is so excited to have the opportunity to share our story with this community through the Invitational Choir Festival at Maryville College,” Blackwood said. “Always a priority is letting others know how neighbors in our very own community may be assisted as they face the struggles of life. We are most grateful for this opportunity to engage our community in being ‘good neighbors.’”
