April Joy (Adsit) and Christopher John Alexander

April Joy Adsit, daughter of Don and Debra Adsit, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Christopher John Alexander, son of Robin and Steve Roberts, of Knoxville, and Bo Alexander, of Knoxville, May 29 at Historic Sam Houston Schoolhouse grounds in Maryville. The Rev. Art Jensen officiated.

Lindsay Adsit Moyer, of Salt Lake City, Utah, was matron of honor. Chloe Adsit, of Maryville, and Margaret Ann Ely Green, of Murfreesboro, were bridesmaids.

Kendall June Adsit was flower girl. Kaden and Tyler Adsit were ring bearers. Christina Reno kept the bride’s book.

A reception was held at Historic Sam Houston Schoolhouse grounds.

After a wedding trip spent hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Peru, the couple are living in North Carolina.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at Isaac Dickson Elementary School, Asheville, N.C.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He is employed as a tax accountant at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, Asheville, N.C.
