Stephanie Mays, of Maryville, daughter of Warren and Noreen Mays, of Maryville, was united in marriage with Kyle Chapel, of Alcoa, son of Randy and Tina Chapel, of Montrose, Pa., Sept. 18 in Maryville. Steve Craft, pastor at Victory Baptist Church, Maryville, officiated.
Haley Mays, of Maryville, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Catherine Pianalto, of Jefferson City, Sarah Watson, of Knoxville, Zoe Mays, of Springfield, Mo., and Katrina Welden, of Maryville. Flower girls were Madison Welden, of Maryville, Hannah Farrington, of Smyrna, Ga., and Autumn Sprehe, of Oak Ridge.
Jamie Hoffman, of San Francisco, was best man. Groomsmen were Devon Wheaton, of Montrose, Pa., Michael Chapel, of Philadelphia, Jared Mays, of Springfield, Mo., John Roche, of Moosic, Pa., and Jared Fowler, of Brackney, Pa.
A reception was held at Smithview Pavilion, Maryville.
The bride is a graduate of the Visual Communication for Graphic Design program at Pellissippi State Community College. She is employed as advertising coordinator and Times Too! designer for The Daily Times.
The bridegroom received an undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University, a master’s degree from New York University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D from the University of Tennessee. He is employed as a graduate assistant at the University of Tennessee.
